The Canada’s Cup is upon us and it looks like it’s going to be a stunning weekend for the 2021 Canada’s Cup Defence Race against Youngstown Yacht Club’s Robert Hesse, and his team aboard Zing.
After introducing you to some of the team that are behind the scenes, and will be cheering on Defiant from spectator boats from Thursday onwards, now it’s time to meet some of the Canada’s Cup Defence A-Team. These incredible sailors have worked hard, week-in, week-out and will give it their all in the coming days. Preparation, mindset, rest, nutrition are all a part of their prep. Who focuses on what, though? And what have they all learned during this experience? Watch below to find out more.
First up, John Millen who is in charge of the spinnaker trim and helps out with the runners at the back of the boat.

Mariah Millen just returned from the Tokyo Olympics and is working the runners (with her dad!).
