Located in RCYC’s City Clubhouse, Bistro 1852 features inventive fare in an elegant, vibrant setting. Much like its name, which pays homage to the founding year of the Club, Bistro 1852 fuses tradition with innovation by presenting Club classics and contemporary global cuisine. 

Chef Michael Russell’s ever-evolving seasonal dishes reflect his culinary vision: to offer the freshest ingredients sourced from local farmers and purveyors. Experience the casual elegance of Bistro 1852 — it’s the perfect destination for sharing a meal with fellow Members, trying something new or celebrating a special occasion. 
 

DRESS CODE

Enjoy everything Bistro 1852 has to offer in your Smart Casual wear – meaning anything dressier than athletic wear, but less formal than a suit. Sport something that reflects your personal style – even denim – as long as it is appropriate, polished and without rips or tears.

Leave your hats, t-shirts, tanks, shorts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, sandals and athletic shoes at home.

The Crown & Beaver Bar is located in the City Clubhouse. It offers a menu of bar fare with weekly specials. The Crown & Beaver Bar features a large television ideal for watching the game or enjoying a pint.

Casual Attire is welcome including sportswear or whites in the Crown & Beaver. As you settle in, remember that these are spaces where you should hang your hat —figuratively and literally.
