Aqua Athletics Classes – Aqua Intervals, Aqua Strength & Conditioning
Due to the buoyancy of water, aqua classes will strengthen your muscles and improve your cardiovascular fitness without subjecting your body to additional wear and tear. Aqua training sessions are being used by fitness enthusiasts and athletes alike to improve conditioning and prevent injuries.

Deep Water Running
Deep Water Running is just jogging in water deep enough that your feet don't touch the bottom. As simple as it sounds it offers many benefits. Deep water running is not only a commonly recommended rehabilitation tool for sports injuries, but it's also a fitness and accelerated training method used by athletes and exercise fanatics everywhere.

Swimfit program is designed to help you get in shape, develop your stroke and improve your cardiovascular endurance. Participants meet once a week and are provided with a workout that can be adjusted for varying skill levels.

Remote-Control Sailboat Racing
Sailors find a winter home and great activity for all ages with the small sailboats on Thursdays. Using remote-controlled Dragon Force 65’s, races are held in the pool at the City Clubhouse every Thursday evening. Racing set-up begins at 7:00pm every week, with the first start at 7:30pm. Contact sailing@rcyc.ca for more details or show up any Thursday this winter!
