All Members must tap their cards when boarding from the Island as you get on the launches.

Temporary Transportation Options

The Ship Channel Bridge is currently under construction, and its completion date is uncertain (refer to latest update). Recognizing that this bridge is the primary transportation route to the Island, we are committed to providing our Members with alternative transportation options to reach the Island. To achieve this, we have provided alternative solutions until the bridge is back in operation:

Option 1. Pontoon Boat Service
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, RCYC’s Pontoon Boat, Zephyr, provides supplementary service for Members for the remainder of the Sailing Season. This service is complimentary to Members and their guests and departs from the Southern end of the Quay located at the foot of Yonge St. and Queen’s Quay W.

Option 2: TDOT Water Taxi Service - Scheduled Staff Runs
Members may also use the scheduled staff TDOT Water Taxi service. Please note that these runs prioritize staff transportation. Members are required to present their Membership card.
