My name is Lindsay Davies and on June 8th and 9th I competed at the USODA Great Lakes Championship in Erie, Pennsylvania. This was my first time attending the Great Lakes regatta so I didn’t know what to expect. The conditions where not that different from home though because it was still in a lake.

Mariah Millen and her team mate Ali ten Hove just finished their European summer season of racing. It has been an extensive two months of training on and off the water, as they prepared for the Princess Sofia Regatta in Spain, and the European Championships in England

The last couple months of my training has been very difficult as it is very tough to recover from the knee injury I had in January and log hours on the water at the same time. I recently returned for the Europeans where I did not perform to my best ability but it was still a great learning experience.
