ADF Update: Mattais Koechli

The Canadian Optimist Championship took place from August 16th to August 20th in Ottawa, at the Britannia Yacht Club (BYC). There were 121 competitors from Canada, China, Bermuda, and Antigua, with eleven out of the RCYC. Measurement was the day of the practice race and was

the test day. The conditions throughout the regatta were mostly very light winds with only one day of wind above 10 knots. Team racing was unfortunately cancelled because we did not get three races over the first two qualifying days. Sadly we only got six races over the two days and the organizers were not able to split the fleet in to silver and gold, but the whole team had fun.

Again thank you from your donation and support to my sailing career.
