Thank you, on behalf of all RCYC athletes, for your continued support!
With over 90% of Club Members contributing to the Athlete Development Fund (ADF), formerly the Corinthian Fund, we're setting the stage for further success as our Club is represented at all levels of competition. Read recent athlete thank you letters and reports (see blog entires below).
Of special note for 2019, congratulations to RCYC ADF athletes, Justin Barnes and Mariah Millen! Both sailors have qualified Canada for the Olympics in Tokyo 2020 through their Pan Am continental qualifiers!
Looking ahead to Tokyo, the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 rounds focus ADF disbursements primarily on supporting our athletes in their final push for the Olympics.
Some athletes who are 2024 hopefuls are also receiving recognitions of their progress with smaller contributions to continue their journey. Fall 2019 disbursements were also dedicated to the Greater Good aspect of the ADF mandate to complete the funding required for a new Club Trailer.
