Norman Struthers: European Summer Regattas
I am half-way through my two month trip to Europe, have learnt a lot and am excited for what is coming next.
First event was Kiel Week where I learnt about sailing in fleets of high calibre, and finished top of my team. Next was the U-21 World Championships in Gydnia, Poland.
Many mistakes caused me to be far from my goal but I have already turned these mistakes into learning and am excited to apply them at the ISAF World Championships in early August. I would like to thank the ADF for their generous support. I used the grant to purchase a new sail to use at the Worlds.
